When you want to make your written French look really authentic and professional, you can type the accent marks and other diacritics that are commonly used in French simply by using a few shortcuts on your computer keyboard. The following shortcuts for typing accents and other diacritics should work with most applications and broswers, including Microsoft Word and Gmail.
