DAAC 1311 | Counseling Theories | Professor Tirado: Book Requests

This guide is designed to help students find information for their research paper assignment.

Books requested from other San Jac campuses usually take two to three days to arrive, so plan accordingly.  You will be notified through your San Jac student email account when a requested book arrives.

Note:  You will be expected to present your current San Jac student ID card when picking up a library book.

Requesting a Book from Another San Jac Campus

Using the library online catalog, you can request a book from one campus library and have it sent to your home library. This process usually takes 3-4 days.

You can also request books from your home library and they will be put on hold for you.

To request a book, click on the title of the book you want, and you will see your options at the top of the screen:

Choose Request, and you will be prompted to log in using your name and G number:

Click Submit. Then you can choose which campus you would like the book to go to and the date after which you no longer will need the book:

Finally, hit the Submit button. You will see a message confirming your hold. The library staff will call you to tell you when your book is ready to be picked up. If you have not heard anything after several days, please contact your library to check on the status of the hold.
