Open Books No Cost - this term means that students will have no textbook costs, as these courses use only free, online, open educational resources.
Open Books Low Cost - this term means that materials for these courses are part of the affordable learning initiative at SJC and are available for $50 or less.
Open Books Plus - means that the cost of digital learning materials is included as an additional course charge on a student's tuition statement.
