Limit Your Results to Evidence-Based Articles

CINAHL has a handy feature that allows you to limit your search results to evidence-based articles. The database defines "evidence-based practice" with this explanation:

 

 

In order to use this feature, you'll have to use the Advanced Search page.

When you arrive on the CINAHL homepage, click on the Advanced Search link under the main search box:

 

 

Once you're on the Advanced Search screen, enter your search terms and scroll down to the Limit Your Results section.

About halfway down on the right, you'll see a checkbox for Evidence-Based Practice. Check the box before you Search, and you'll ensure your results will be articles from evidence-based journals, or the other evidence-based sources listed in the image above.
