Faculty Library Guide | Generation Park

Instruction can happen in the library space (G2 105), in the computer lab, or in your Generation Park classroom. We can also provide synchronous online library instruction or recorded instruction for online anytime classes.

We can customize instruction for any course subject. We are also savvy at finding resources on the web in addition to using what we already have in-house. Some instruction topics can include:

• How to utilize the library catalog to locate books and media.
• How to navigate databases.
• How to create search terms.
• How to distinguish between popular and scholarly materials.
• Citation help
• Understanding Boolean search
• Information Literacy (print, web, etc...)
• Services available within the library
• Library tours

Call, email, or visit us to schedule a library tour and instruction section. If calling or emailing, please include the following information:

• Instructor name
• Course # and section #
• Number of students
• Requested Date & Time
• Requested Location
• Special assignment or instructions
