Artificial Intelligence (AI): Gemini (Bard)

The focus of this research guide is the educational applications of generative AI.

What is Gemini?

Gemini (formerly Bard)
Currently in the experimental phase and limited to users in the UK and in the US, Gemini (previously known as Bard) is a chatbot and content generation tool developed by Google. It is seen as Google's counterpart to ChatGPT.

To get started, you will need:

a personal Google account, OR
a Google Workspace account.

Bard can answer questions based on content from Docs, Drive, and Gmail and can provide real-time info from Maps, Flights, Hotels, and YouTube.
