This generative AI tool is designed to quickly analyze research papers. More specifically, Elicit can locate academic papers from a database of 200 million, it can summarize content, and it can synthesize data.

According to the Elicit FAQ home page, these are the most common uses of Elicit:

To speed up literature review
To find papers that could not be found elsewhere
To automate systematic reviews and meta-analyses
To learn about a new domain

Note: Elicit tends to work best for empirical domains that involve experiments and concrete results.
