Sometimes when you search the databases, you don't have time to open up every article, determine if it's relevant to your research, and then save, email, or print it out. In those times, the Folder feature can come in handy.
A few words of caution: You must do something with the articles in the folder before you close out of the browser or switch databases! Your folder contents will NOT be saved until your next session. You should either email, print, or save the articles, or create a free account with MyEBSCOHost by clicking on the Sign In link at the top right of the page:
There are three ways to add an article to your Folder:
1. From your list of search results, click on the folder icon to the right of the article title. Once you've added an article, the icon will change, so you'll know if you've already added something.
2. You can also add an article to your folder when you mouse over the magnifying glass to read the abstract:
3. Finally, you can add an article to your folder by clicking on the title of the article and using the link in the Tools menu on the right:
To see the articles you've saved to your Folder, click on the Folder link at the top right of the page:
Your folder contents look like this:
From your folder, you can delete articles you no longer need, or select one or more articles using the checkboxes to email a batch of articles at once. (To print or save PDF articles, you should open the articles and use the print or save icons in the PDF.)
Or you could log in to MyEBSCOHost (create a free account if you don't already have one) to save your folder contents until the next time you log in.
