Welcome!  This research guide is designed to help you with the CQ (Congressional Quarterly) Researcher database.  CQ Researcher provides original, authoritative reports on newsworthy social and political issues.

Follow the links in the left margin to see the various features. Click on Library Help for assistance from San Jac librarians.

To open the CQ Researcher database: 

  1. Go to the library home page; 
  2. Scroll down to the Quick Links section and click on Article Databases;
  3. Scroll down the next page and click on Multi-Subject / General Research;
  4. Scroll down again and click on CQ Researcher.
